Self-Service Portal Files Management feature overview

Self-Service Portal is currently running under an Early Access Release. Early Access Releases are subject to specific legal terms, they are unsupported and do not provide production-ready SLAs. They can also be deprecated without a General Availability Release. Nevertheless, we welcome feedback from early adopters on these cutting-edge, exploratory features.

The File Management feature enables company users to access files available within their organization.

Uploading files

Back Office users can upload files to share with companies, business units, and company users.

For instructions on uploading files in the Back Office, see Upload SSP files.

After uploading files, Back Office users can attach them to individual companies, units, users, and assets. For instructions, see Attach SSP files to assets and company entities.

Accessing SSP files

On the Storefront, users can access and download the uploaded files on the Files page.

File management permissions

A company user can have the following permissions related to file management:

  • Open My Files page
  • View My Files
  • View Business Unit Files
  • View Company Files
