Manage merchant relation requests
Edit on GitHubA Back Office user can view, edit, approve, and reject merchant relation requests created by buyers. For details on the merchant relation requests, see Initiation of the merchant relation by a company user.
Once a company user creates a merchant relation request, it appears in B2B Contracts -> Merchant Relation Requests.

To approve or reject a merchant relation request, do the following:
- Click Edit for the request you want to process.
- Optional: In Assigned business units, select more business units to add to the request or remove the business units for which you don’t want to create a relation.
- Optional: In Company Note, leave a message for the company that requested the relation.
- Optional: In Internal Comments, leave comments for internal usage within your organization. Your colleagues can see and respond to the internal comments. The buyer’s company that requested the merchant relation won’t see these comments.
- In the top right corner, click Approve or Reject.
- Optional: To create a separate merchant relation per each business unit, check the respective check box.
- Confirm approval or rejection of the merchant request.
View merchant relations created from merchant relation requests
For the approved merchant relation requests, you can view the merchant relations created from this. Do the following:
- On the Merchant Relation Requests page, click View for the approved relation request.
- In the top right corner of the form with the request details, click Merchant Relations.
This takes you to Overview of the Merchant relation page with the merchant relation.
